Mural for the "MS Waterdelle", a YMCA recreation center on the island of Borkum, Germany. In keeping with the atmosphere of the North Sea and the theme of the house, the motif depicts the biblical story of the calming of the storm.
The people in the boat can only see the rising waves, the turbulent and difficult situation they are in. Above all this, Jesus is standing on the bow. He can already see the salvation and peace that he is making a reality.
