The motif deals with two provocative core statements of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948: the undeservedness and inalienability of human dignity.
As the viewer drives past the mural, an impressive moment occurs: at a certain point, the dignity of the person depicted in the motif is inevitably "imposed" by a higher authority. This interaction deliberately plays with the consequences of undeserved and inalienable dignity. It confronts the viewer with the difficulty of recognizing the same dignity as a likeable or respectable person under all circumstances to a person who does not conform to conventions and standards in terms of appearance or character.
